I am a Lutheran, stay-at-home, music loving, pug snuggling, homeschooling mommy, Air Force Wife, and Bookworm who ponders the road less traveled (or the kitchen less cooked in!) in between scrubbing floors, cooking dinner, teaching math and kissing boo boos while trying to maintain a bit of intelligence and sweet Southern grace
The blog header at Apron Thrift Girl reminds me of my wonderful childhood. I can just smell her strawberry scented hair right now!!! If you were a young girl in 1983, go take a peek! It will make you smile!
I just love it when I open an email or webpage and find out that inside is a wonderful list of links. I really don't care what they are. They could be a list of links about how to pluck your eyebrows. (Actually, that isn't very funny cause I could probably use that since my eyebrows are currently growing into sideburns.) I start feeling all choked up at the thought of clicking and bookmarking and sending those links to die in the disorganized mass grave called My Favorites. That said here is some linky recipe goodness. Food and links....AAAAH!! The miracle of the internet! And my lovely Bible study ladies think I should give this up so I can fold laundry in a timely manner (wink wink Jamie)!
Back of the Box Recipes These are great
name brand recipes. Usually quick and easy. Great resource for foods you get
at a food pantry and don't know what to do with!!!
(With great respect to Dr. Coufal, my favorite grad school professor who spent countless hours actually checking every reference in my 200 page papers making sure credit was properly given, let me leave you with this footnote, in which I give full credit to the original writer of this linky list.)
